META HSE championship rounds and MEO

We’ve had a crazy couple of weeks with live Regional final events happening across Australia and New Zealand. We saw some great displays of skill and sportsmanship across these events. A recap of the events and results will be posted soon. Thank you to all the sponsors, parents, teachers and students who came along to support high school esports.

Where to from here?

We now head into the championship rounds for League of Legends and Rocket League, and playoffs for NBA2K. Championship rounds will be played across two days;

Saturday – 27/07/2019

  • League of Legends – Regional finals winners will play round robin matches (best of 1) – 2pm – 6pm AEST
  • Rocket League – Regional finals winners will play round robin matches (best of 3) – 3pm – 6pm AEST
  • NBA2K19 – Double elimination – 3pm – 6pm AEST

Saturday – 03/08/2019

  • League of Legends – Regional finals winners will play round robin matches (best of 1) – 2pm – 6pm AEST
  • Rocket League – Regional finals winners will play round robin matches (best of 3) – 3pm – 6pm AEST

The top two seeds after the championship rounds will qualify for the championship grand finals at Melbourne Esports Open. Teams will be provided flights, travel expenses and tickets to Melbourne Esports Open for the trip.
